Tuition
Total tuition for the LeapYear program is $23,900, payable in one of two ways:
- Pay in full: $23,900 due August 1, 2026 (two weeks before program start)
- Monthly installments: 12 equal payments with a 3% processing fee, beginning August 1, 2026
A non-refundable enrollment deposit of $1,000 is required to secure your place in the cohort and is due within 14 days of acceptance. The deposit is applied toward total tuition.

The deposit is non-refundable from the date of payment. This reflects the cost of holding a seat in a limited cohort and beginning enrollment-related work on the student's behalf.

After the program begins, tuition is non-refundable. This policy reflects the cohort-based design of the program: a student's enrollment commits LeapYear to fixed costs (housing, instruction, advisors, programming) that cannot be recovered if the student withdraws.
Medical Exception
If a student must withdraw due to a documented medical condition that prevents continued participation, LeapYear will refund tuition on a pro-rated basis for the remaining months of the program, calculated from the date of withdrawal. The enrollment deposit and the month in which withdrawal occurs are not refundable. Documentation from a licensed medical provider is required.
Installment Plan Withdrawals
Students who withdraw while on an installment plan remain responsible for any tuition owed under the schedule above. For example, a student who withdraws on August 20, 2026 owes the full $23,900 regardless of how many installments have been paid to date.
How to Withdraw
Written notice of withdrawal must be sent to [admissions@startleapyear.com]. The withdrawal date is the date the written notice is received.
